SEO reporting that shows what moved, including traffic from AI assistants
SEO reporting starts with tracking that can be trusted: Search Console verified, GA4 installed with consent, AI assistant referrals separated from other traffic, and dashboards your team can read without an analyst. Most of the reporting problems found in audits are tracking problems, not performance problems.
Sounds familiar?
- You cannot say how much traffic comes from ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini
- Ecommerce numbers in GA4 look too good, or do not match your orders
- Your agency sends reports nobody uses to make a decision
- Analytics was installed without consent handling

- GA4 installed behind Consent Mode v2 with a cookie banner in your languages

Frequently asked
Can GA4 show traffic from ChatGPT?
Partly. Visits from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot that pass a referrer can be grouped into their own channel. Visits from apps and voice often arrive without a referrer and land in direct, so the AI channel is a floor, not a total.
Do we need a paid dashboard tool?
Usually not. Search Console data can feed a Google Sheet or Looker Studio report automatically. The dashboard should answer the questions you act on, not show every metric available.
Is Consent Mode required?
For visitors in the EU and UK, analytics should only run with consent. Consent Mode v2 keeps that compliant while preserving modelled data in Google's tools.
